Our Privacy Policy tells you about the information we collect from you when you register your details on our website, via email or over the telephone. In collecting this information under the rules of the General Data Protection Regulations 2018 (GDPR) we are acting as a data controller, and by law, we are required to provide you with information about us, about why and how we use your data, and about the rights you have over your data.

We take protecting your information seriously, and have taken all measures required to ensure any information we receive about you is held confidentially, and remains secure.

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND WHY

Any information that you do register with us will be stored securely and will only be used to send you information based on your requirements. We will ask for consent to do this, and will only send you information until such time that your consent is withdrawn.

We will collect your information via our website, via email or over the telephone. If information is collected over the telephone, we will send you an email specifically asking for your consent to be added to our applicant database. We will also ask you to check the details we have collected are correct, and you agree to its use in finding you a suitable property for either sales or rental. If you register via our website there will be a 'consent' tick-box, as we can no longer assume that in submitting your contact details it indicates that you wish to be put on our database.

In some circumstances, we will need your permission to pass your details on to a third party company. This will include referencing companies for rentals, and for sales this could be a surveyor or mortgage broker. The third party companies that we pass your details on to will be compliant with the new General Data Protection Regulations 2018, and these companies will have their own privacy and consent practices in place.

If requested, you can ask us to delete your information completely under the GDPR "Right to be Forgotten" regulation.
